It's Evanescence!!!

HOLY SHITBALLS!!! Evanescence! Ahhh!!!

It's safe to say I love Evanescence. And it's also safe to say I don't know when the fuck this music video came out. But it's lovely to see a new video from this band and Amy.

I honestly can't wait to hear the rest of this album. Honestly, I'm squealing like a little bitch in excitement. Until then, I can replay all the old songs I loved so dearly in wait...

Plus, Amy's looking as lovely as ever.

Music Video of the Day: Creatures by Motionless in White

Motionless in White is one of my favorite bands at this moment. I fucking love their song "Santa's Pissed", which is by far the most amazing Christmas song known to man.

Anyways, here's Creatures. Kickass song, kickass video.

And holy shit, that was Megan Massacre who just set that old guy on fire...

My Acoustic Obsession: The Maine

I rather like The Maine. It's a little different than what I'm listening to right now, and is a welcome change from all the screaming. Despite my intense love for all things Whitechapel, there's only so much one can take before they lose their fucking mind. Or maybe they're just crazy ass metalheads. Either way...

See, I like the usual stuff from The Maine. In fact, my favorite song from them is "The Way We Talk". But the thing is that I love it all so much more acoustic. So I'm here to share my love with my handful of readers. Or the one. Or I'm possibly just writing to myself and no one else...

Ahem. Where was I?

Here is The Maine doing an acoustic cover of "Roses" by OutKast back in August of 2010.

Music Video of the Day: Little Miss Obvious by Her Bright Skies

Thanks to BryanStars, these guys have their own little section on my phone. Or rather, I must give my thanks to BryanStars2. I like them. I think the song is pretty damn catchy, and I like that. In case you haven't noticed.

But I do believe this band is made up of all the blondes Sweden has to offer...

Music Video of the Day: Blessed With a Curse by Bring Me the Horizon

I thought this video was stunning. I love the whole look of it, and both of the girls were lovely.

Perhaps it's not my favorite song, not even my favorite by Bring Me the Horizon, but this is my favorite video of theirs. I think that their latest album was their best, but my favorite song was "Don't Go" featuring Lights, which was the first Bring Me the Horizon song I ever heard.

So enjoy the video, even if you have to listen to it on mute.

And resist the urge to slap the computer screen. He just kept holding his hands out, and I seriously wanted to five the dude a high-five.

New Music for Me #3: Jody Has a Hitlist

They're Irish. Have I mentioned some of my favorite music comes from Europe? Goddamn those Europeans have this shit down.

Anyways, here's a band to be checked out. Their name is Jody Has a Hitlist.

I've been listening to their song "Through It All", and the video will be below.

I'm too tired to really write anything more other than: CHECK THEM OUT!!! And thank Buddha for BryanStars...

Music Video of the Day: Reprobate Romance by Whitewidow

I think this is going to be a new thing. Just posting a music video or a song of the day whenever the fuck I don't feel like actually putting effort into writing.

I felt the need to post this song right now, after my last post on Get Scared. Enjoy.

But is it me, or does Lexus Amanda slightly remind you of Dahvie Vanity?

Band I'm Digging: Get Scared

In case you haven't noticed, I have a love/hate relationship with new discovering new music. Love: I know I like it, I know what will help with my mood. Hate: it's taking up all the room on my phone, I have to learn the words (I'm kind of a freak about lyrics)...

But once again I have begun listening to a band I'd never listened to before.

I've known their name for quite awhile. In fact, a month or so ago, I was able to recognize their name in Outburn magazine, for this edition:

They were one of the band pictures in the front, and my mother was pointing out the hand print on a certain Nicholas Matthews's face (which I have to admit I find pretty damn cool).

I went on with my life afterwards, not paying them any more attention. And then it happened...

I was on YouTube, listening to the Falling in Reverse album when a recommended video in the description was: "Reprobate Romance" by Whitewidow.

I think that's how you spell that. Is the "W" at the end supposed to be capitalized?

I thought the lyrics were horribly cheesy - to the point where I cringed at certain times. I can honestly say I haven't written try-hard poetic shit like that since 5th grade.

To be fair, the girl's voices weren't too bad. I know Lexus Amanda was the name of one of the girls... The girls seem to hate her. Obviously, she dated a hot guy in a band for that to have happened.

I liked the guy's voice. Then I saw his name: Nicholas Matthews. I remembered that name. I knew I did. That Get Scared dude.

Once again, I was like "fuck it" and didn't listen to them.

Yeah... So...

Not too long ago, BryanStars came out with his BryanStars News and talked about that whole thing with Ronnie Radke and Nicholas Matthews, and the suicide thing.

So I FINALLY decided to look up Get Scared and found their song "Whore". Sure, for a second I kind of thought it was a chick (but only momentarily, I swear).

I do like them quite a bit now, with them going on my phone and deleting a couple songs from All Time Low (I'm so sorry... but Zack Merrick's shirtless poster from AP is still on my wall!).

That's some crazy ass hair they've got going on... And still lovin' the hand print...

Get Scared, bitches.

A War in My Ears: Amy vs. Carly

These past few days, Evanescence has been playing on and off on my iPod. To add to this female singer madness, yesterday I began re-listening to We Are the Fallen.

I loved Evanescence when I was younger - quite frankly, that was one of the bands that helped me get into metal in the upcoming year. But eventually I found myself caught up in that music those damn Europeans (*cough cough* Norwegian, Dutch, Finnish, German *cough cough*) put out. You know, the Nightwish, Epica, Within Temptation, Leaves' Eyes, Xandria...

And speaking of Xandria - they got me into Lacrimas Profundere, who I listened to on the bus the other morning when I forgot my phone.

Anyways, the Evanescence bug bit me last week when I started to listen to their new single "What You Want". As much as I love Amy, I wanted new, with bands and lyrics that were unfamiliar to me. So BAM! I remembered a little band called We Are the Fallen...

Who is We Are the Fallen? They are the band who has more Evanescence members than Evanescence itself, I swear to Buddha. Carly Smithson, ex-American Idol, and Ben Moody are really the only two members of the band whose names I can actually remember though. Sorry, but I'm too lazy to look shit up (it's not like anyone actually reads this crap).

So... Who do you like better?
